Grove Ice Meltin' Blues Fest
March 27 & 28, 2010
Chase away the winter blues with two days of soul
warming music. Back by popular demand, Long Grove
will host the Ice Meltin' Blues on Saturday and Sunday,
March 27 and 28, 2010. The Ice Meltin' Blues has been
expanded to a two-day music event that promises to
take the bite out of winter. Enjoy a variety of live
performances in venues all over town.

Chocolate
Fest April 30, May 1
2, 2010
Enjoy the sweet life! This annual festival kicks
off the outdoor special event season in Long Grove
each spring with a celebration of everything chocolate.
The historic district, home to more than 70 distinctive
shops and restaurants, including the world renowned
Long Grove Confectionery, becomes a chocolate lover’s
paradise! Enjoy chocolate in all its many splendors;
sway to the live entertainment throughout the village
all three days, and fall to the temptations of the
many food, specialty vendors and tasty restaurants.
10 am – 6 pm all three days.

Strawberry Festival June 25 - 26
- 27, 2010
The
pleasures of summer are celebrated with "berry-wonderful"
strawberry flavored and inspired treats from melt-in-your-mouth
chocolate covered strawberries to strawberry martinis
and desserts. This is the granddaddy of Long Grove’s
signature festivals, drawing close to 50,000 visitors
to the historic business district for the 3-day event.
It is considered one of the premier outdoor festivals
in the Chicagoland area. Live music all day at many
different venues, great food, distinctive shopping
and children’s activities are other reasons to come
for the day – or the weekend. 10 am to 6 PM

Great Tastes Fine Arts Festival August
14 - 15, 2010
Artists
have been flocking to Long Grove for more than 20
years for the annual juried Fine Arts & Craft
Festival. Select from among an amazing array of original
artwork, including watercolor, oil and acrylic paintings,
sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, glass, photography and
mixed media. Enjoy live music and plenty of great
food.

International World's Tour – September 4 - 5 - 6,
2010
Long Grove's "World Tour" debuts in September The
Long Grove "World Tour" will debut on Labor Day weekend,
September 4, 5 and 6 2010. An outgrowth of the success
of Irish Days, Long Grove's international-themed shops
will expand the cultural opportunities with this multi-national
event. The World Tour will feature ethnic music and
dance, foods and activities representing a number
of cultures, including Italian, Mexican, Brazilian,
Native America, Scandinavian, Greek and more! Visitors
will be issued a "World Tour" passport for discounts
and deals on in-store merchandise and foods from participating
Long Grove merchants.

Heritage 5 K Run /3 K Walk – September 11, 2010
Sponsored by The Rotary Club
This annual 5 K run/3 K walk is a "feel good" event
that takes participants along one of Long Grove’s
prettiest country roads. Join us for a pancake breakfast
after your run/walk, sponsored by the Rotary Club.
Proceeds will be donated to an area charity.

Apple Festival – October 1-2-3, 2010
Any
way you slice it, the Long Grove Apple Festival is
a wonderful way to spend an autumn weekend in a beautiful
country setting. More than 70 distinctive shops and
restaurants help celebrate with unique seasonal gifts
and foods. Treats include cider donuts, caramel apples,
the Long Grove Apple Haus’ famous brown bag apple
pie, and much more! Live toe-tapping music, carriage
rides, hayrides and children’s activities help provide

OktoberFest – October 16 – 17
Come celebrate Long Grove’s German heritage at OktoberFest
with plenty of delicious ethnic food and beverage,
dancing, live entertainment and shopping. Experience
the old-fashioned fun of a family carriage ride, join
in some lively German dancing, entertain the youngsters
with pumpkin decorating and a variety of children’s’
activities. Stay for beer and brats and traditional
