Long Grove Named One of Chicago's Best Public Spaces
From June 3 to July 27, 2009, dozens of people entered the “What Makes Your
Place Great?” contest by sending the Metropolitan Planning
Council original photographs or videos of their favorite
public spaces in Chicagoland.
More than 50 public places in the city and suburbs,
including gardens, public plazas and walking trails, were
nominated. A video shot and submitted by Ami Shah of Green
Courte Partners LLC, owners of retail properties in Long
Grove, won the People's Choice Video Award.
